Creativity is empowering. It’s also the 21st Century’s most desirable skill. It crosses economic, social, physical and psychological barriers. It supports and rebuilds our wellbeing and is a key component of digital literacy. Anyone can do it, and anyone can learn to do it well.
22 years as an educator taught me that all learning, at any age, can be enhanced by enabling learners to engage creatively the subject. I’m an oracy and literacy specialist, and a writer and a storyteller. I share stories using collage, live performance, spoken, written and soundscaped words.
